Mike Dowe currently works as an Animal Cruelty Investigator for the Michigan Humane Society located in Detroit Michigan. Mike Dowe is part of a team of animal cruelty investigators who's daily work activities can be seen on the award winning television program Animal COPS Detroit. Mike Dowe, like anybody, had obstacles to overcome. One such obstacle he never imagined, was about to be his toughest. In 1999 Mike Dowe found himself facing Life in Prison accused of a crime he did not commit. Although he was finally acquitted and set free, Mike spent one year in The Wayne County Jail - knowing the entire time he was innocent of all charges, and the police had the wrong guy. |
